App crashes everytime you try to connect. I bought this grill for the Bluetooth function. Very disappointed! Will return smoker if it doesn’t get fixed. Horrible!

Please fix your app! It just forces closes with the new iOS.. I loaded it on my old iPad and it works fine but it should work on the new update.. get with the picture.
Fix the app, purchases smoker because of feature. IOS 12 update and it doesn’t work.
Way to muck things up. Your new app is crap. I've had my smoker for four years...not one problem. I love it, and have recommended it to numerous people. You update the app and (surprise) problems galore. No connectivity, and too many registration questions. Poorly done Masterbuilt, poorly done.
I have a galaxy s7, app worked 2 days ago, now it won't pair using bluetooth. The whole reason I paid the money for this was the bluetooth. What's going on Masyerbuilt? I need a fix!
I called Masterbuilt. They are aware of the App malfunctioning with the recent IOS update and it should be updated by October 10th.

I updated to ios12 but my husband did not... app works in his phone just fine but no longer on mine... Masterbuilt please fix!!!!

Just bought my smoker - app crashes right after you start it. I can't even connect my smoker to my app. :( Please fix!!!
I have an updated I phone 6s. i downloaded the app. then opened the app but it closes down (or crashes?) in less than a second after it opens. you can open immediately again, only it closes just as fast every time you try to open it. This doesn't work very good and the company is not doing their do diligence it would appear to fix their issues with the app. less that a 2 star rating is something to be ashamed of.
PLEASE FIX YOUR APP!!!! I would give you five stars if you fix this!!!! I bought my smoker specifically because it had blue tooth!!!!
Used to work great - now with iOS 12 it’s broke hopefully they issue an update Luckily my wife has android - works fine from there
Ditto on the IOS 12 update. Smoking pork butt this morning without app. Crashes immediately on launch. Not good. Not a happy camper.
The Bluetooth app was the reason I bought this smoker. Now it doesn't work and I am very disappointed. If they don't fix the app I will buy another brand that works. Come on Masterbuilt!!!!!!
We are very happy with our smoker but quite frustrated the app no longer works since we installed IOS 12.

Same story; installed IOS 12 and then the Masterbuilt Bluetooth Smoker App. Starts to open and crashes right after the Spash Screen shows.
Seriously would like to rate the app in the negative. I just bought the 230g model, set it up and seasoned it. After that I decided to set up the app and was baffled as to why the app would open and immediately close. Glad I found this forum. I deleted a reinstalled the app a few time before I found my answer in here. I also have an IPhone and IPad with the newest update ios12. Very frustrating. Thankfully I can of course operate it manually but if they offer an app, it should work.
